Russel has been working as an exploration geologist since 1967. His first job was working with Ron Russell the man who discovered the Queensland phosphate province for Broken Hill South. In the intervening years he has continued to work as an exploration geologist across a broad range of commodities and for a range of companies. Since 1985 he has consulted to small cap companies and been involved with the promotion to IPO of a number of companies in Australia and Canada.

Russel promoted UraniumSA as a public company and has responsibility for building the Company’s operating capability, designing and implementing its exploration programs.
